    I am Maria Magdalena — photographer, storyteller, and  quiet witness to your unvarnished core. Photography found me in 2016, and since then it has carried me through award-winning work in photography, poetry, and short film. I carry Greek blood in me, and with it an old reverence for beauty, myth, and the arts — the sense that every session captured through my lens is a small ritual, not just a transaction.

    I work mostly in natural light, in a reportage ethos: I document more than I direct, though I know when to create. My camera loves nature and animals nearly as much as it loves people caught off-guard, mid-laugh, mid-thought.

     What I'm really after is honesty — the unguarded second before the pose, the soul showing through the skin.

   I speak English, Romanian and a little bit of Spanish and French — I photograph across Catalunya in Spain the French Riviera, and, with enough notice, wherever the story calls me.
